Glenn Head


As a highly credentialed pediatric dentist and a native of Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Glenn Head graduated from Wofford College with a B.S. in Biology.  He attended the Medical University of South Carolina where he received his doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in June of 1987.  Upon graduation from MUSC Dental School, Dr. Head was chosen to further his studies at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas where he earned his degree in pediatric dentistry.

In addition to his private practice of more than 25 years, Dr. Head has been an active community leader.  He has served on the board of the Peace Center for the Performing Arts including their executive board.  He served on the Capital Campaign Committee of the Children’s Museum of the Upstate and the board of the Governor’s School for the Arts.  In addition, he serves on the SYNNEX Share the Magic Committee and was awarded the “Hero’s Award” for his outstanding service.  Also, he serves on the board of Clement’s Kindness, a fund for children with cancer and blood disorders.

He is a member of the Greenville Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
