Internship Programs

Looking to host an internship for one our high school Lion's Den scholars?

Internships in healthcare, architecture, and engineering are just an example of the most high in demand internships in our area.

If you are a community member interested in hosting an internship, please email Jean Shew.

Through community internships, scholars obtain valuable professional and life long skills that will allow them to exceed in the workforce.

Scholars will receive guidance on:

  • Professional Communication Skills
  • Workplace Etiquette and Expectations
  • Time Management and Punctuality
  • Build Positive Relationships with Supervisors and Colleagues

Internships must connect with their career IGPs; the careers must require a four year college education.

MIND (Mentoring in New Directions)

Join us in our mission to pair up bright young minds from middle (5th-8th grades) scholars with supportive mentors from the community.

Mentorship is greatly needed to provide support, guidance and encouragement at such a critical time in their life.

Together, we'll navigate the twists and turns of education at Legacy and beyond, helping scholars overcome any challenges they encounter along the way!
