Mark was among Dixon Hughes Goodman’s founding partners in the 1980s and previously began his career with an international accounting firm. His firm responsibilities include partner and associate development, recruiting, community relations, administrative oversight and coordination of client services.
Long active in the profession, Mark was appointed by the Governor to serve on the SC Board of Accountancy and has served as chairman. He has also served in elected and volunteer roles with the American Institute of CPAs, the SC Association of CPAs, NASBA and the Institute of Management Accountants and has served as president of the Piedmont Chapter of CPAs.
Beyond his professional commitments, his community involvement includes both professional services to many boards and volunteer/elected service to organizations such as the SC and Greenville Chambers of Commerce, United Way, Greenville Community Foundation, the Upstate Children's Museum, Roper Mountain Science Center and others.
Mark serves clients in various industries. His experience includes financial systems and processes, business planning and strategies, board governance, mergers and acquisitions, and coordination of audit, tax and accounting services. Mark is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Master's in Business Administration and a BS in Accounting.
