“I was looking at the people in my life who were really successful, and one of them is Mr. Brown, who was a CPA. So then I thought, accounting is a gen ed course, and I went ahead and took that to see how it is. I think it was the hardest class I’ve ever taken, but it was really fun. I got a good grade and thought, ‘Ok, I’ve got the hang of this.’ Now I want to see how people do this in real life. I knew Mr. Brown had a firm, so I asked him about an internship.”

Legacy alumnus Jayden Williams' love of writing began with creating short stories and poems in 7th grade.

"One day, I got the idea of writing a book," he said.
