Media Center
Legacy Early College has two state-of-the-art educational media centers, one for each campus.
The Elementary Media Center serves scholars in K5-4th grades. Books are chosen to assist scholar learning and broaden their understanding of a topic. Scholars are able to chose books to read either in house or check out and take home to explore. Scholars come to the Media Center weekly for academic classes, 1-on-1 tutoring, guest speaker events, service projects and our annual Elementary Book Fair.
Our Elementary Media Center houses a well-equipped STEAM Lab, which provides all grade levels with an in-depth view of scientific processes that they would not otherwise have.
The Parker Media Centerserves scholars in 5th-12th grades. Books and materials are available to them online as well as on campus and reflect Parker scholars age differences. Scholars are able to check out books, attend various classes such as: ACT Prep Classes, "Edgenuity" Credit Recovery Classes, Mindfulness Moments, 1-on-1 tutoring sessions, STEM Journalism Classes, Extended Day classes as well as our annual Parker Book Fair.
Media Center/Library Policy
***Parents, as with any learning tool, books and videos for teens will have a more mature content than books and videos for young readers and tweens. Please discuss your family expectations with your scholar regarding their library media center use.***
