As a charter school, Legacy does not receive state funding that is specifically allocated for school transportation. So while a traditional school district receives physical buses from the state, we are responsible for purchasing and maintaining our own bus fleet. For the scholars that Legacy serves (high poverty) they are only able to go where transportation can be provided.

LEC’s bus fleet serves over 85% scholars on a daily basis, representing more than a 250% increase in over just ten academic years.
