William W. Brown, Founder and Board Chair, Legacy Early College

William believes in the success of every child. His life-long advocacy for education is reflected in his passion for creating opportunities where children can “be all they can be.” As Founder and Board Chair of Legacy Early College, William is transforming education in South Carolina with a unique school model that combines academic excellence, physical fitness, and superior nutrition.

Dana Pittard is Vice President of Defense Programs for Allison Transmission (Allison). In this role, he oversees Allison’s domestic and global defense business. With defense products in over 110 countries, Allison is the leading provider of wheeled and tracked military vehicle transmissions in the world. He is the first African-American Vice President in Allison’s 105 year history.
 

Ms. Madison Petersen, Our 2021 Valedictorian

Madison Petersen is Valedictorian of the 2021 senior class of Legacy Early College High School.  She is also a dual enrollment student at Greenville Technical College having currently earned over 30 college credits as a high school scholar.  She has been accepted at Harvard College, Cornell University, North Carolina A&T University, Clemson University, among other prestigious universities.

Mr. Kameron Little, Our 2021 Salutatorian

Kameron Little is a true example of a Legacy Scholar-Athlete.  His commitment to his academics and participation on our varsity basketball team shows the discipline and dedication that we preach here at Legacy. Kameron also served on several student/faculty committees that affected the culture within the school. This shows the confidence that many had in Kameron as a leader. We are very proud of Kameron and all of his accomplishments.
